How refreshing. That was my first thought about the new Barclaycard Flexi Rate Credit Card.

In a new and interesting twist, Barclaycard and breaking the mold of other card companies and offering lower APRs to customer that actually try to clear their credit card debt each month by paying above and beyond the minimum credit card payment.

Its fair to say that that credit card interest rate doesnt drop much should you choose to payoff as much of you borrowing debt as you can, but it does reduce; and thats important.

that means that those UK card holders who can afford to use their credit cards responsibly by only borrowing as much (if not just a little more) as they can afford to repay in a few weeks time are rewarded. All in all, the Flexi Rate Credit Card from Barlcaycard is a welcome addition to the UK credit card market.
