Cashback credit cards are great for those credit card users looking for added incentives. Cashback credit cards generally give their owners a small percentage of every sale back.

so, lets take a simple example. Sharon buys a couple of DVDs and a new DVD player from her local SuperStore. Sharon spends £100. Her cashback credit card offers here a 0.5% cashback incentive. therefore, at the end of her cashback period, assuming sharon doesnt spend any more on her credit card, Sharon will receive 0.5% of £100 off her bill. meaning that instead of having to pay back £100, Sharon only has to pay back £99.50.

This doesnt sound like a great deal but it soon adds up. What card users need to be wary of however is the card interest rate. As debts not paid off within a period will be subject to credit card interest rates.
